In response to Matt Drudge's report that, "Sen. John Kerry's official election website is riddled with obscenities," the Boston Herald says, "A spokesman for Kerry said he believed the Web site was struck by "a virus'' yesterday. He then promised to get back to us with a better story, but never did."
The Kerry campaign is turning a minor blunder into a spotlight on their tendency lie as a first resort. A simple acknowledgement of the problem and an intent to fix it would have sufficed. Instead they blame it on a virus, perhaps their most preposterous assertion so far.

Anyone ever think that some of these guys accuse the OTHER guy of stuff that most applies to themselves?? Sure seems to fit here.
Too bad that newspapers cannot (or will not) convey the tone that JFK used when referring to the administration as "liars" and "crooked."

Anyone who substitutes conspiracy theories for solid facts is no better than the foolish merchant who mistook counterfeit currency for real money.
