You might have noticed that posting has been a little light (okay, non-existent). I had intended to write a post about why, before it occurred, but events conspired to prevent that.
On June 1st I had open heart surgery to repair a faulty mitral valve. It went well, but has slowed me down quite a bit. I'm getting better every day though I can see it will take a few weeks to recover. I won't be posting much for a while even though the increased time in front of the television has given me so many things to blog about (Howard Dean's amazing stupidity nearly gave me a blog hernia when I couldn't post about it).
I want to thank everyone who has been praying for me. There have been lots of you and I appreciate every one of you. I'm looking forward to blogging again but it will probably be at least another week before I start writing.
